Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join our client's team at a reputable healthcare facility.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a unit where extensive multidisciplinary team (MDT) support is provided to both patients and colleagues. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will collaborate with professionals such as Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, Support Workers, Therapists, Activity Coordinators, and the Senior Management Team. Your primary responsibility will be to care for patients with acute mental health needs who are admitted for assessment and treatment.

Their Nurses work flexible shifts, including days (07:30 am - 20:00 pm) and nights (19:30 pm - 08:00 am), covering 7 shifts over a 14-day period. Flexible and part-time options are also available.

About Our Client:

Their goal is to offer a person-centred approach and therapeutic environment that encourages collaborative care planning to achieve treatment objectives. From admission, they aim to support patients in transitioning safely back to the community for continued progress towards recovery in a less restrictive setting.

Typically, patients are referred to our client from local NHS trusts, and they pride themselves on fostering excellent working relationships with patients, families, and external agencies. This collaboration ensures clear communication throughout the care pathway, promoting individual recovery and facilitating discharge. Their interventions encompass a variety of therapeutic approaches, blending psychiatric and cognitive behavioural perspectives with occupational therapy, psychology, leisure, and recreational activities.

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • Valid NMC registration as RMN or RNLD
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health services

  • A positive attitude towards change, improvement, and quality
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
